(Heb. Ibri', עַבְרַי, an. Eberite or "Hebrew;" Sept. has ᾿Ωβδί v.r. Ἀβαϊ v), the last named of "the sons of Merari by Jaaziah," i.e., apparently a descendant of Levi in the time of David (1 Chronicles 24:27). B.C. 1014.
